Hay & Straw
We stock hay and straw that is suitable for a number of uses.
- Prime Lucerne bales can be used as feed for horses, goats, sheep, alpacas and cattle.
- Garden Lucerne is cheaper than prime lucerne and is a great garden mulch. It put lots of nitrogen into your soil and helps keep the moisture in too.
- Oaten Hay can be used the same as prime Lucerne but it is also great for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs to eat.
- Teff Hay is becoming more popular with horse owners, especially those suffering from Laminitis.
- Straw is most commonly used as animal bedding. We also have a lot of builders buy straw bales to help retain soil on building sites.
